Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SchoolJi, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using SchoolJi on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

Service Description

SchoolJi provides a cloud-based school management platform for managing students, staff, academics, communication, and related school operations. Features and availability may change as we continue to improve the product.

Free Trial & Pricing

SchoolJi is currently available as a free trial. We plan to introduce paid subscription plans in the future. When paid plans become available, we will notify registered schools in advance and provide clear pricing details before any charges apply. Continued use of paid features will require acceptance of the applicable plan and fees.

When payments are introduced, all payment processing will be handled by third-party payment gateways that are PCI-DSS compliant and authorised in India. SchoolJi does not store payment card or billing details on our servers.

Account Responsibilities

• School administrators are responsible for managing user access within their organization
• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep account details up to date
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials
• You must not use the platform for unlawful purposes or in ways that harm others

School Data Ownership

Schools retain ownership of the data they enter into SchoolJi. We process that data solely to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' data
• Upload malicious code or interfere with platform operations
• Use the service in violation of applicable laws or regulations
• Share login credentials or allow unauthorized access to school accounts

Service Availability

We strive to keep SchoolJi available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption.

Limitation of Liability

SchoolJi is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or zero during the free trial period.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of SchoolJi after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Newsletter & Email Communications

By registering or using SchoolJi, you agree to receive our newsletter and promotional emails, including product updates, feature announcements, and relevant offers. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at [email protected]. Transactional emails related to your account (such as billing or security notices) will continue regardless of your newsletter preference.

WhatsApp Communications

By registering or using SchoolJi, you agree that we may send messages to the phone number on your account on WhatsApp. These include one-time passcodes (OTPs) for verification and login, account and security notices, and product updates and announcements. Messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform, and standard WhatsApp terms apply. You can stop product updates at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us at [email protected]. Verification codes and account or security messages will continue because they are needed to operate your account.
